An act of murder by legal definition require a person, an action, an outcome that is death & a clear intention or Knowledge of crime. It’s definition originate from that of “Culpable Homicide”(CH) detailed on section 299 Indian Penal code.

  • Whoever: A person
  • Causes Death:An Outcome
  • By an Act with
    • Intention to cause
      • death or
      • Injury which is likely to cause death or
    • Knowledge(even if no intention)that it’s likely to cause death.
